The Gold Coast has so many beautiful outdoor places to explore with kids, including the pristine beaches of Main Beach and the spacious Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens – Rosser Park, in Benowa.  From the spectacular waters of Tallebudgera to the peaceful green hinterland and back to the bustling waterfront at Burleigh Heads.  The list of fun places to take the kids is endless.

If you are looking for a great free outdoor venue that has various activities for everyone, you might like to make your way to the Broadwater Parklands in Southport.  The younger kids can have a jump on the huge Bouncy pillow, then onto the playground followed by a splash about in the Rockpools and the older kids might like to have a swim in the lagoon.  There are plenty of barbeques if you want to cook up a bbq and there are heaps of sheltered areas and picnic tables.

For the kids and adults that are looking to learn a new skill, there are a number of paid water sport activities around the Gold Coast including surfing lessons, skiing lessons, wakeboarding lessons, kayak lessons and stand up paddle board lessons or SUP as it is usually referred to.
